Meals are selected and pre-qualified by the Agency assigned to each client; therefore,
meals are selected from their pre-assigned Agency. Once client meals have
been scheduled using the flexible client editor, the editor provides simple delivery
scheduling for daily and one/two week deliveries. Deliveries may be sequenced utilizing
a stop sequence number providing driver least cost delivery routing.
Network Architecture for MDS
MDS may be installed on a single stand alone computer or on a multi-user LAN/WAN
network. The master database may be either a Microsoft Access or SQL Server environment.
Client/Server principals apply in a multi-user network environment. The Client application
is provided at each workstation utilizing Microsoft Access or SQL database. MDS
is provided with Archive feature which removes older data records to a separate
archive file to provide more efficient real time master database response.
